This is the end we've come around again we're in different lands and the shackles on our hands are different shades of metal so we won't mettle in each other's affairs. We're distant. Has anyone ever known this distance? Distaste colors my throat, my vision is hazy, whisky taints me, but hey, doesn't that make me a lady? On the surface I'm calm, but in my head I'm dropping bombs on your relationship hating - this thing that you're attached to. I try to slow my mind and find the time to rewind. Where did my peace go? I killed it - rewritten by this crime. My voice slows, it's over, nobody knows where this will go.

It's easy to disappear, to close your mind to everything. Numb, I remember nothing, and forget nothing. I think, of nothing. Of no one. Nothing exists outside the present moment. The future, is a worry, and always present, but I do not let it worry me. For a moment, shot glass in hand, I forget where I am. And then I see his curls... The ringlets falling softly across his shoulders. For a split second, they are yours, and my throat closes, my heart jumping up in my chest. Then he turns, and the smile I also love returns. Soon I begin to realize, that I am too sober. Bartender - Just one more round?

Still looking for a job. Still putting in applications and hearing nothing. I've had two job interviews and haven't heard back from either of those employers. On top of that, I'll be out of college soon. My classes are finished in almost two weeks, and suddenly I realize that I have nothing to do afterwards besides find a job and possibly plan a wedding for the future. FIND A JOB> AND PLAN A WEDDING> This is my life. Well... *heavy sigh* After about a two hour 'discussion' with my boyfriend and his parents, I'm left with the impression that if I don't get a job immediately, then I'll probably be looking at getting kicked out. That's not the way they phrased it, but I feel like that's what's hanging over my head. On top of that, I'm afraid no one will truly hire me because I've only had about a month of 'true' experience, and I don't really have any references from here since I've just moved. *heavier sigh* So... I've applied to two different places so far, and plan to put out a few more applications tomorrow as soon as I get 'reference' information. T
